Painted in Adobe Photoshop CS2, with an wacom intuos A4 drawing board. About 15 hours.
No references or photos.

Interesting idea. The water looks pretty cool, but I'm not really "getting" why it's there as far as being in relation to space and the universe and such. The earth is decently rendered, I wish it were slightly more clear though - maybe a bit darker. Nice concept
